Yamaha is gearing up to strengthen its presence in the premium scooter segment in India, and the much-awaited Yamaha NMax 155 is all set to make its entry. Already popular in international markets, this maxi-scooter will soon lock horns with Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Burgman once it arrives in India.

The Yamaha NMax 155 will feature a 155cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine delivering around 15 hp power and 14 Nm torque. This is the same proven engine seen in the Yamaha R15 and MT-15, ensuring a thrilling yet smooth performance. Thanks to Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology, the scooter will offer strong performance in both city traffic and highway rides.

While Yamaha hasn’t officially confirmed the launch, the NMax 155 is expected to debut in India by end of 2025. The expected price range is ₹1.50 lakh to ₹1.70 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it among the premium urban scooters.
