Renault has officially launched the facelifted Kiger in India, starting at Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom), with the high-powered turbo variant priced from Rs 9.99 lakh. Following the Triber facelift, the Kiger gets refreshed styling, upgraded features, and a reimagined cabin to take on rivals in the competitive SUV segment.
Sleek New Design
The updated Kiger features subtle yet impactful design tweaks. The slimmer grille flanked by sleek DRLs, a revamped headlamp housing, and a redesigned bumper with integrated fog lamps give it a modern look. The 16-inch alloy wheels and new green paint option further enhance its road presence, while the overall silhouette remains familiar.
Upgraded Interiors & Tech
Inside, the cabin retains its layout but gets a stylish dual-tone black and light grey dashboard. Tech upgrades include an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a fully digital instrument cluster, and ample space with 405-litre boot and 222 mm rear kneeroom.
Premium Features
The facelift brings ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, wireless charging, auto lights and wipers, and more. Safety is bolstered with six airbags, ESP, tyre pressure monitoring, and hill start assist, available across four variants: Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion.
Engine Options & Performance
The Kiger continues with two engine options: a 72 hp 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine and a 100 hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, AMT for the NA engine, and CVT for the turbo variant. Renault claims it offers segment-best 0-100 kmph acceleration.
